Poem A traitors whim

A thousand strong, yet more indeed
To grow in strength, face destiny
The heart of the fold they will embrace
Or be lost within, no sign nor trace

The power grows, the fold rebels
From whence it came we cannot tell
A little bold, a show of force
They show their hand and stay the course

Time marches on, the force is dealt
The weary struggle is soon felt
Peace is wanted, not constant strife
To give meaning to order, not end a life

Then one came, he stood alone
The wait was short, he brought them home
Ones like him, a loyal breed
To do the task, perform the deed

He came in secret and many were lost
The fold was opened, but at what cost
His serpent tongue they could not resist
They lay waste with mighty fists

The tide did turn, the traitor shown
The corner yields and hope has grown
Nowhere to go he cannot hide
Surrounded, shackled, he will abide

But what is this, he does awaken
He won't be caught, he won't be taken
We lost the traitor, he did his deed
The search is on for this mighty steed

Very cool Dyraele, reading this reminded me of the two bard songs for each faction in Skyrim.

Thanks for the poem! I love things like this, it makes the stories behind them feel more real, kind of like how it does in Tolkien's works.
