It's a sash, like what the male is wearing.

I would consider neither race "furry," personally. Furries are not ambiguous in appearance.

Yeh.. i wouldn't consider either to be furry.. Draken are more like monsters.. and Aurin are more like Neko's with just the ears and tails :p

What's your definition of "nekos?" I ask because the literal meaning of that word is "cats," who are actually very furry, LOL.

Skirts are supposed to cover the goods. A sash isn't.

I wasn't flamebaiting at all lol. I was literally trying to find the point of his post. Weather or not it was a skirt or "sash" changed absolutely nothing about the point I was making.

The women are still in skimpy outfits and sexuality.... doesn't matter what the technical name of the articals of clothes they are wearing is....

Didn't get to see your last post because the last three post of this thread were edited.

I'm thinking our admin erred on the side of caution. /shrug

I would argue that because both genders' outfits are basically identical, there was no explicit intention to oversex female draken in particular (via their clothing, anyway). The obvious sexual dimorphism is another story.

    P.S., I have ovaries.

I will be playing a bunny-eared Aurin. I fully expect to be judged for it, and I will blissfully be ignoring it because bright colored hair! Also, the ears and tails are so much fun to draw for added expression to the character :D

Hey forgive the stupid questions but I just learned about this game a week ago and this site like yesterday am I to understand that the ears of the Aurin are changeable and the only two options are the bunny ears from the announcement/Meet the Exiles videos and the cat ears like Ratchet from Ratchet and Clank?

Draken have quite a slew of horn styles so I'm sure that there'll be a very wide range of ears for Aurin. Even if they're bunny ears, there'll probably be lots of variations of bunny ears. :p

IIRC, on reddit it was stated that angel, bat, and butterfly wings are among the Aurin "ears" options.

    Edit: I found a quote.

"We have several wallpapers on the site; don't get too attached to bunny ears per se because it's actually an animal-istic race: For instance the ears can be bunny, bat, cat, angel-wings, butterfly, and more...some keen eyes noted this in the video."

We have artwork showing Draken horn variations, Mechari face variations, how come we don't have artwork for Aurin ear variations? They were one of the first races to be revealed, too!

I swear, Aurin ears are going to like, be the last thing that gets revealed before release. Before we know what other Aurin ears look like, we will know how Eldan look like. #butteflywingears

i played an Elin in Tera just to be not Sexified and even they were pretty bad. I find it kinda degrading when i play a game and i cant pick a race that doesn't wear high heals and is wearing less clothes the heavier the gear is. If i wanted to wear a steel bikini i probably wouldnt want to be the tank idk just my idea of logic. I realize some ppl just see it as " art " however i think 90% of those people just say that to protect their sex doll game and try to sound like they are not a perv.

Alt-o-holic here - I'll eventually have a go with every class and tend to cover different race/sex variations for each new alt to give variety.

With regards to what sex of a race I'll play it's purely down to aesthetics for me. In WoW I my orcs/tauren were always female as I didn't like the bulky look of the gear on males (it was like playing a walking roadblock), with Wildstar I find female Draken preferable as they are sleeker and their tails look less 'awkward'.
For races where there's little difference (Humans/Forsaken, Asura/Gnomes, etc) I tend to just go with whatever takes my fancy at the time/whichever sex I haven't rolled yet.
