Honestly, we really don't know right now. The game is still in beta and still not optimized for performance.

Upgrading laptops can be difficult graphics wise, but ram and hard drives are easy, your probably best getting a new one, there are nice laptops for gaming now days that are under 1k

For some people who are moving a lot there is no other option. I'm one of them aswell, but there are plenty of laptops then can EASILY handle games/big-games.

Ofcourse then I aint talking about those cheaper laptops of under the €1000.

    If not soldiered:
You can upgrade your cpu within a very small margin but becarefull even if you can technically and physically fit a new cpu the psu may not be able to to deliver. + extra heat

    If not soldiered:
You may or may not be able to upgrade your ram capacity/speed, OEM laptop manufactures have specific specifications on their boards (4gb might actually be the maximum, but logically you would think 2x4gb sodimm's would work but don't)

Can upgrade your HDD with a Mechanical 2.5" or SSD variety.

    Cannot upgrade your gpu

I do not think it really matters if a laptop has a soldered CPU, Honestly who actually upgrades laptop CPUs? they are a major pain to find even on Newegg.

However most gaming notebooks always use slotted RAM...

Avoid MacBooks completely if you ever want to game, Their thermal properties alone make them must avoid for anything more than watching Netflix.
