Recently I've been looking at alot of screenshots of Wildstar, and I've come to the conclusion that female Aurin might only come in purple. As I know this has been brought up in various threads before I just thought we might need a place to discuss it.
This thought worries me though, personally I wouldn't play Aurin if they only came in purple. Yet they look like such an interesting race :(

Now wait a second before anything happens, I trust you keep in mind this may NOT be true. The only reason I believe this is true is because I am yet to come across anything but Aurin females that are purple.

If anyone has a screenshot of something other than a purple female aurin please share :D

This video shows hair color as an option for the Cassian, so it would be a fair assumption this option would be available for all races with hair.

Agh, I voted before reading the actual poll question. I assumed it was the thread title.

As it stands they are only in purple, now standard judgement would imply that obviously we will likely get customization options for the hair color because the male Aurin's have the ability to do so, but as it is their is no evidence to come to the alternate conclusion.

I'd hope there are options and it would seem strange to restrict female Aurin players in such a way. I'm hoping for red hair.

You can see the customization in wildstar (only a mechari in this video but I assume it applies to all races, but don't quote me on it) in this video
    .

Also, I do not have a link to the video of this, but I believe that in either a pax video or e3 video of them talking about how you can give the aurin ears from all different animals (including bat ears they said). The reason all aurin appear purple in demo's I believe is because that is just the demo Aurin they have, the "face of aurin" if you will. I really want to see what a male aurin looks like though, if someone can link a video / screenshot with a male aurin I would be extremely greatful.

I feel completely confident that there will be color options beyond purple at release. :)

I do like the purple though.

the male aurin on the left labeled "butterfly" doesn't have large biceps either, and it's def a male. also, the "pointy, serrated" one is also a guy, doesn't have large biceps.

I'm definitely playing a female aurin. However, I may not main one if all they have for hair is purple. I'd probably end up maining a lady draken instead and reserve the purple-only lady aurins for an alt. Hopefully aurin females will have other hair colors in addition to purple.

ok, scroll down to post number 6 in that thread - male standing next to female - male doesn't have the huge biceps

    and this dude:
    http://i.imgur.com/RwRqsjQ.jpg

could be chalked up to the sleeves being loose.

and if it was a female, even from the side you can see the boobs:

the ones you're mentioning you can't see that on them.

    one more edit:

every single female Aurin in those Screenshots has Purple Hair. Leading me to believe that they have not yet put in other colors for Female Aurin (otherwise there should be at LEAST one female with non-purple hair)

It might just be an angle thing. If I angle myself in the mirror without flexing, my biceps look huge but if I change my angle just a bit I look like the scrawniest guy alive.

That said, I haven't seen any buff male aurin yet. They all look short, lean, and scrappy to me.

I'm sure it is because of some design thing or rather and blah blah.
    This thread is silly.

Why play Aurin at all? You AURIN"T THE BEST

Because people like them for whatever reason they have? Same reason people play any other race and class.
