Is there generic roles(heals, tank, dps) ?

    Kind of interested how the roles/paths are going to work
    are they going to be more like generic roles or is the more guild-wars style of play?

    You will have tank classes, heal classes and classes that culd focus on dmg with the talents, the path dont really have anything to do with the roles you play, they are just a bonus to keep you enjoying the game from my understanding.

    As far as I know, Wildstar follows the path of the Holy Trinity. (And paths don't have much to do with combat)

    Yes, then minor no.

    We have the holy trinity, every class can dps, and so far we have 2 tanks and 2 healers, odds we'll have 3 tanks and 3 healers once the last classes come out.

    The no, is that path does play some role in combat, you get skills from your paths, though from what I gather it's not as important as your class skills.

    I am so glad they are doing the trinity, otherwise I'd have to go cry in the corner, I don't know who thought it was a good idea to remove healing. >.> it's like lets remove the role so many people enjoy playing that will go over well! I mean I guess you could still technically heal a bit but I hate DPSing so was forced to do that against my will. >.<
