Hey everyone, after the data dump this week I've been thinking over some things and want to throw out some ideas and get y'alls feedback. So based off of the information presented we know that there are 5 stats in the game: Strength, Technology, Dexterity, Wisdom, Magic. I am ignoring Stamina as this is a "primary stat" in every game but really only traslates to health, and in Wildstar % chance to be crit. But the likelihood of a class being based around stamina is slim in my opinion. I do not see Stamina being a stat that adds to an abilities thoroughput, therefore is not a "primary stat" imo. Classes seemed to be balanced around 2 stats. This is supported by many dev statements but is primarily supported by the class resources themselves as can be seen hre http://wildstar-central.com/index.php?threads/wildstar-races-classes.68/ Each class has a seperate resource for abilities based on each stat that ability is based around it seems This is supported by many dev statements but I think the best support is the class resources as can be seen Assuming that these assumptions hold true I expect to see 10 classes, 1 for every combination of stats My speculations: Str/Tech- Soldier Str/Dex- Maye the Rogue or maybe like a Slayer from Tera Str/Wisdom- Some type of Pally Str/Magic- Battle mage. Kinda interested in this one Tech/Dex- Engineer or Rogue Tech/Wisdom- No clue. Maybe some sort of steampunk cleric Tech/Magic- An arcane tnikerer type. Similar to engineer but more magical, less mundane Dex/Wisdom- Druid type maybe? Dex/Magic- Spellslinger? Wisdom/Magic- Esper? or a cleric Anyways, feel free to run wild with this idea. Critique, destroy, whatever. Would love to here thoughts on what people would want to see in each category.
