Hardly a master but they work for me.
    Any movie preferences? Characters? Phrases?

Id like 0ne based on the Granok Warrrior Soldier path with the Tog logo somewhere and a wildstar background. That would be awesome. Mayble the guild webby as well Http://www.theoldergamers.com

    Here is a first swing.

Just a straight chop so far with fuzzing the background a little and embossing the figure a smidge. Thoughts? Right direction, wrong direction? Thinking the figure might be too dark but brightening him could blend with the spinning blade too much.

    Tinkering with it some more.

    Thoughts on this?

    Oops... Forgot the RGB shift.
Well here is one with just a regular bevel.

Wow that is really looking nice. Love the font too. Are you able to get the TOG logo on there anywhere also?

    You have some skills.

I can put it on there but it doesn't "fit," so to speak, very well. At work now and plan to do some more tinkering tonight.

I was pondering changing the TOG to a more WSO style. Like replacing the crosshair with the magic circle thingie and using a different font for the T and G.

Thank you for the compliment but I'm a tinkerer at best.

    Okay, next swing.

Here is what I'm trying with TOG.

Good? Bad? More tilt? Less? Your crosshair doesn't have much depth and I gave the icon more. Flatten it?

Oops, meant to toss this on too. Here is the pdn with all the layers at 1500 x 450. Can't attach pdn's here. Not sure about speedyshare either. Never used it before. So if you want I can email it or upload it someplace else. In case you want to tinker with it too.

I like to use paint.net when I'm making sigs. Here is the original image.

As far as the guild name and emblem? The problem, for me, is the guild address is rather long for a 500 x 150 sig. So the emblem fits, especially wildstarized, and the sig can fit if using a tight font. Together though? Starts looking a little to cramped to my eyes.

I'll post my latest swing at it in a few.

    Okay, my next swing.

Maybe go with a sharper icon behind your name?

    Thoughts?

Were you wanting larger than 500 x 150?

Thank you, I think its starting to come together.

Okay, figured why not just stick a straight white font and drop it under the background. With a motion blur shadow it might even show up well on white background sites. Now to get that tight font to look right I did need to up the size to 600 width wise.

Oops... Forgot to reverse the bevel. Hmm... My shadow is off now. There, think that's better.

    Right way? Wrong way? Thoughts?

Oh, sorry, what did you have in mind Lyas?

Anytime. I like to tinker. If you want me to try some other stuff I can. I keep thinking it might look better with your tag vertical but that wouldn't mesh as well now that the guild name is across the bottom.

Wow... Hehe, finding a spot for that logo was the hardest part of the whole sig.

I kept trying to find a way to put it on the blade but could never get it too angle or blend quite right. Sorry but the best place that visually fit to me was under the TOG.

The base blends a little off with the background but RGB'ing throws off the red a little too much. I would reverse tilt it and put it in the upper right but that throws off the visual slope.

    Hmm...

    Thoughts?

You know, it might be better to tuck it in behind the figure, lower left. Think I'll try shifting it too the armor color tonight. Maybe put some glow behind it.

Okay, last time. I almost, sort of, kind of swear.

Noticed the RGB shift background and pondered that the foreground figure would look better that way too. Also did a color dodge with the path icon to blend better but still can't get it to angle right on the blade. Which somehow led me into pondering the best background blur, unfocus or motion. So I did one of each. Thoughts?

Almost forgot. Here is the updated speedyshare link with the pdn file. At 1500 x 450 of course. I included the original, motion, and focus background layers this time. In case you or someone else wants to tinker with it. Maybe get that bloody icon to angle right on the sword.
