    Hi ^^

I made a picture of an Aurin. I'm not good at 2D. I work with 3D actually. So it would be great with some feedback if you want to give some ^^

I will draw more fanart for Wildstar because I like Wildstar so much. But my next picture will probaly be more cartoony / anime style. (That's what I'm most comfortable drawing :D)

Oh, sorry  I mean I'm not a professional 2D artist or anything. So I don't really know what I'm doing. It's all pretty random :D

But thanks for you comment ^^

Great job! The whole drawing is great, but the background makes it even better.

That is without a doubt, the best space background I have ever seen in any piece. ;)

Not good with 2D? This is pretty awesome, actually. I love the "Twilight" atmosphere and especially those blue plants and the aura around the moon. Very, very creepy, mysterious, and ethereal. The aurin and her little buddy are also very cute, and in the case of the former, pretty hot, too.

So, as an art teacher, I'm always handy with feedback. My only criticism, and I use that term very loosely because it's not REAL criticism, is I'd like to see a bit more contrast :) I love the color palette you used, I'd just like some more contrast between the tail and ground so there would be more separation.

Side note, I'm a huge fan of 3D art as well :D

Yay :) 3D is awesome. And thanks for your criticism. Do you mean contrast between the colors or the brightness? I have a tendency to use too similiar colors often but I try to break out of it ._.

Looks really good to me. ^^ I wish I could draw that well, (or at all. >.>) I can't really give any criticism as lol well I can't draw so I wouldn't have a clue what would be wrong with it in the first place. = P

But good work! Keep it up. ^^

oaa love it :D and i like that there isn't to much contrast :) it blends together really nicely(does that word exist ) my only criticism (and thats only the opinion of someone without any experience in art) is that the hand is a bit to big and the proportions of her face arent perfect :) but it's still reeally beautiful :)

If you convert the whole thing to black and white, you'll see what I mean about contrast, the colors are fine, the values are incredibly similar throughout. If some are brighter and some are darker (contrast) you create more visual interest in the piece. For example, that phosphoric glow the ground has below her tail, if it were more emphasized, slightly brighter in value I mean, the tail would stand out a bit more. I'm not saying make it all bright white, just thinking of using the whole range of value from extremely light to extremely dark is one of the things I am constantly attempting to get my students to do. High school kids, in particular, like those mid tones and tend to ignore the extreme lights and extreme darks. Yours has some very bright lights, and some extreme darks, along with the mid tones. I just suggest pushing some of the lights and darks to the extreme range of the value scale :)

As far as the color scheme goes, you're using almost analogous colors, so I wouldn't even worry about it. There's so much you can do with color schemes that it rarely is a conscious decision for most of us ;)
