All I know is chua better get to be Medic
True, but as to how exactly the technology works is important. It may be important in the case of the spellslinger as well.
No, that's a good thing. Would you trust a chua medic? I wouldn't. That's why I'm glad they're Dominion. Let them inflict mayhem upon Dominion infirmaries. It helps the Exiles. XD
I'm pretty sure that's the case, Aurins can be 2 healing classes already and why they wanna put a third healing class to Aurins?
Humans/cassians will have all 3 tanking/healer classes. It's not too hard to believe another race on each faction could share a little bit of that bounty.
Also, chua are getting both new classes (at least this is what I've heard) and they can already be spellslingers and espers. That means they're getting all three healers.
Oh Chua can be Espers now? i might have missed it I recalled that they can't be Espers when the race was announced back then.
Well i guess Aurins can be a Medic then.
I think it was on UDSP that they quoted an interview which stated that Chua would have access to both new classes.
Granok, Mordesh, Mechari, Chua - This is what i think goin to be the medic races.
...And ofc Human & Cassians if they now are getting all classes.
Do we know if the healer classes (medic and the other one) will be true healers or a DPS class with healing abilities?
What I'm really wondering is this. A lot of my friends really miss rolling healers and so can I tell them there are healers in WS or not?
Like the two already announced healing classes the Medic will have a DPS spec and a Healing spec as well as a mixture of DPS, Healing and Utility spells which can be slotted into the limited action set.
Your reasoning seems very sound. What about Draken? Currently the official site lists them as having access to the same known classes that the Mordesh have. Do you think they'll have access to either/both of the unrevealed classes? What about the Aurin?
This image of a Mechari also showing up as a cutout at conventions would seem to confirm Mechari Medics.
The above image is from WildStar Wednesday: October Game Systems Update. No confirmation which unrevealed class its of. There had been some speculation that the Medic would have a Melee DPS spec, but I think it will be ranged. It seems unlikely to me that the Mechari, limited to only three classes, would not have access to a ranged DPS spec.
A member without an avatar? For shame. If you would like one, here is a link to a thread with WildStar avatars. Credit to Alara for her amazing work.
According to this prediction it will be;
Aurin or Mordesh
Mechari or Draken
Granok and Chua are obvious picks, but I also predict Aurin + Mechari.
Healing just seems more natural for them, than their counterparts. The Mordesh and Draken seem to scream engineer to me.
Human: Warrior, Stalker, Spellslinger, Esper
Granok: Warrior, Engineer, Medic
Aurin: Stalker, Spellslinger, Esper, Medic/Engineer
Mordesh: Warrior, Stalker, Spellslinger, Medic/Engineer
Cassian: Warrior, Stalker, Spellslinger, Esper
Draken: Warrior, Stalker, Spellslinger, Medic/Engineer
Mechari: Warrior, Stalker, Medic/Engineer
Chua: Spellslinger, Esper, Engineer, Medic
If you assume humans & casssians can be everything, then it will still work. Each faction gets 3 medics and engineers, but that leaves espers as the only class with 2 races.
So long as either aurin or draken get engineer, I'm happy.
I wonder if theres a betting pool at Carbine to see who accurately guess the final race/class info first.
Someone needs to start one.
I would think that all non humans will be getting 3 classes each in order to preserve the balance between the two sides. Chua being engineers must get engineer. Mech get medic and Cassian get both. Exile human get both. Confirmed Granok get both.
Assuming the Medic is a melee class, then Chua needs to have them. Chua lack a melee class. The other classes that could be a Medic would probaly be Mechari, Granok and Cassian.
