Hello folks! After being so warmly welcomed in the field of drawerizin' stuff I decided to take a crack at some songwriting. I am not professional by any means but I do love making up song parodies and lyrics to different things quite frequently. I noticed a lot of amazing fan creations for music based on Wildstar but I did not find any with lyrics representing the Dominion post Brightland Rebellion, closer to the in-game timeline. Here is my attempt at a rousing battle anthem sang before troops thrust into battle, both a reminder of why they fight and aid to focus their mindset on Exile killin'!

I may compose the music for it if any of you have any suggestions for programs that i can use to compose on the ol compy ( free programs please, I am not in teh best situation financially and am currently trying to take as many commissions as I can to buy me and the better half Wildstar by Christmas!)

    Hope you enjoy it!

    TRAITOROUS HEART

Hear the story faithful soldier your Empire calls,
Of betrayal that dwelt within our own walls.
Our unity and peace; not enough to have freed,
a dissident heart from the tangle of greed.

Remember the echo of now silent voices,
snuffed out forever by anarchist choices.
Our Dominion nation will not shake it's foundation,
    to a traitorous Brightland heart!

Though time passing heals we still bear our scars,
of a betrayer's wound; blood painting the stars.
Our crusade for justice will not waver or bend,
we will battle for honor til galaxy's end.

Remember the echo of now silent voices,
snuffed out forever by anarchist choices.
Our Dominion nation will not shake it's foundation,
    to a traitorous Brightland heart!

For slights to be forgiven and debts reconciled,
we must cull every Exile remnant from the wild.
With our fallen avenged and Nexus reclaimed,
then all shall know peace in our Empire's name!

Remember the echo of now silent voices,
snuffed out forever by anarchist choices.
Our Dominion nation will not shake it's foundation,
    to a traitorous Brightland heart!

It was the highlight of my forum career and still listen to it today. I would love to here yours put to music.

Ooooo, a talented drawer/painter AND musician! ^___^ I'm jelly of the amount of talent you have! XD

Those are very cool lyrics; really taps into how I think the Dominion would perceive the events which transpired. :p

Nice! That was your song? awesome! I loved it, my wife was humming it after listening and it was actually one of the first things that grabbed her by the browncoat and focused her on WildStar! XD
