So slingers can slip into the void for a quick kip owl of noodles or whatever sneakery they can dream up.

    Which made me wonder

If they can enter at point A and move in the void to exit at point B... Is the void a reflection of the game world i.e. is Point A say a tree and Point B say a rock 20 m away clearly identifiable and fixed in both dimensions and therefore Void slipping into one and popping out at the other predictable ?

I like that other slingers are able to follow you and that the void will not be an entirely safe zone with its own gribblies waiting to spoil you're day too.

    Kinda cool me thinks

Yeah its the same game world but without the other characters, npcs or mobs and different lighting effect. A lot like a mage' s invisible in WoW.

I also like the sound of spellslingers following others into the void. I would like a CC where you could send a mob to the void to take them out of play.

Gatta love this ability, and as the devs said, it might not always be a safe place to be in, there could maby be some mobs in the void depending where you are in the world.

    Here's another thought -...

Will slingers be the only class to use the void ?
    What about stalkers ?

According to the AMA, only other Spellslingers were mentioned.

As far as I know, Stalkers wear a stealth suit, and are not "magical."

    Lore incomming:

Funny fact = people think they only wear a tech-suit.....

While the fact is, that they use nanites that are injected inside of them. This was one of the gifts of the Eldan and called ''Jomni-Plasm''. It's the basis of their technological abilities.

I personally think (assumption) that the suit just enhances those powers.

...please search ''mechainical devices'' in the dictionary ;)
A pump, a vibrator, a toaster....those are ''mechanical devices'' too. I just quoted your post to explain what those ''mechanical devices'' are. A trigger for a bomb is a mechanical device too.

Nanites = nanites, it's more clear. I understand that you know what you meant, but newbies can get a different picture from it :D

Ps: You really knew it was called Jomni Plasm? Not a lot know that tbh, i'm quite (positively) surprised

Stalkers use technology to hide, Think romulan cloaking device. Or since they shimmer while moving more like the ghost of Starcraft 'Verse

Well first question answered in the SS livestream.

Second question still tbc as they didn't deny or confirm Slingers were the ONLY class to use the void.

Pretty fun mechanic anyway you look at it. I don't think I'll be rolling one though. But never say never and all those horrible cliches

I honestly wonder if void slip breaks tethers, I know the teleport does not but void slip removes the player from the field for a short time.
