sure your logic works for refugees that get put out by wars in their countries and its not their fault at all. they leave because if they stay they will die from being shot by either the enemy or thier own troops during a civil war.

however this doesnt apply for the humans who left because they didnt agree with the rule of the country. so far as we know of the lore they were not forced to leave, they did not face great peril or risk of getting shot in the streets. they did not get turned into refugees. Most likely they did not like how the royals treated the lower cassians so they tried to revolt and when that didnt work they ran for thier lives.

if someone revolts in your country and then run away does your government say "oh nice try but now as you are war criminals, murdering innocents, you can stay out we wont persue you". or would they try thier hardest to make these terrorists pay for their crimes... doesnt matter where they hid ...

if anything the humans are the msot evil race. they brought the aurin into this conflict. they ran from thier sins and so are now being chased around the galaxy by the police. (in this case the cassians and the mechari.... and the other races by proxy).

the granok ... well as far as we know their home planet is full of resources and space so the refugee part doesnt work here.

lets see ... so the Humans are instigators who brought the aurin into the line of fire like a coward jumping behing his girlfriend when someone throws a punch. and the granok well they just lost the war...

from all this we can say that the refugee idea of your previous post can only apply for granok and aurin however not for the humans. and the only reason the aurin got attacked was because the humans ran from thier punishment.

    HUMANS ARE EVIL!

the other exile races got drawn into thier fight so even from the exile side the humans must be despised by many who still remember their history

Ok lets look at the definition of the word, Refugee: A person who has been forced to leave their country in order to escape war, persecution, or natural disaster.

The humans left to escape both war and persecution, so yes they are refugees, they did not drag the Aurin in to this, This passage is quoted from the official Wildstar website:
''For thousands of years, the Aurin lived in isolation on the forest world of Arboria, but the chance arrival of the wandering human rebel fleet changed their lives forever. Appreciating their good-natured independence, the Aurin welcomed the humans into their forest homes, and friendship soon blossomed between the two races. Fearful of unleashing the wrath of the Dominion on the Aurin, the humans took on much needed supplies and then quickly moved on.''

The humans did not ''dive'' behind them for cover, they arrived on their planet (most likely not knowing who inhabited it) and the Aurin heard of their problems and happily lent a hand, the humans then took precautions to leave as quickly as possible to try and protect their new friends, the Aurin. But because the Dominion are a bunch of <Redacted>'s they decided it was fair game to go and attack the Aurin anyway, they were not dragged in to it, they offered refuge and the humans took precautions to try avoid conflict coming to them, Alas the Dominion are <Redacted>'s and caused the Aurin to become refugee's themselves.

Here is another insert that explains how the humans risked their lives yet again to try and protect their new friends from the Dominion:
''Desperate, the Aurin's newly crowned queen, Myala Everstar, sent out a distress signal to her human friends, who soon formulated a daring rescue plan. Aided by fearless Granok mercenaries, the humans faced off against the Dominion and landed rescue ships on Arboria – but it soon became clear not all the Aurin could be saved. Brokenhearted, Myala escaped from Arboria's surface, but promised those left behind that one day she would return.''

Now, you say the Granok do class as refugee's, well to be honest they are less ''refugee'' than the Humans or Aurin, they were exiled by their own people and forced to leave. They won their war (they didn't lose it as you stated) but were cast out, this passage explains this:

''Refusing to accept defeat, a young warlord named Durek led daring raids into Dominion camps, stealing weapons, armor, and other powerful military hardware. Within a few weeks, the growing ranks of Granok insurgents began to turn the tide. Battered and bloody, the Legions were driven back to planet Cassus.

Triumphant, Durek and his followers returned to their tribes. But instead of being greeted as heroes, they were branded pariahs for betraying ancient Granok traditions during their hard-won victory. Exiled by their own people, Durek Stonebreaker and his followers took to the stars, plying their trade as battle-hardened galactic mercenaries.''

Please get your facts right before arguing a point, learn about why the races left their worlds, and exactly why they are involved with the rest of the Exiles.

but you havent been able to get around the fact that if the humans knew that they would make a problem for the aurin if they went to thier planet and still did it ... well that dragged them into the fray.

then the dominion attacked ... well ofc they attacked ... if you protect the enemy or protected: you are fair game. you chose to go against the dominion 1st. as i understand it the aurin were safe until then... atleast for the near future. maybe the dominion would come to thier planet but under different circumstances.

The queen put her whole planet at risk and payed the price... her whole planet.

as for the granok: they fought and won? great but if they go against the beliefs of thier whole race thats also a choice. they knew what would happen. they knew that thier beliefs didnt allow for combat. once they won they shouldnt have expected to return as heroes. they should have left right there and then because they defaced thier whole race.

Refugees do not make a choice to become refugees ... the refugees from the yugoslavia chose to start fighting. if they did they would have been part of the army or militia not refugees. refugees dont choose when a volcano erupts.

lets see the humans left to escape war... who started that war? there have been very few points in history where a whole subset of a race was wiped out due to fear (hitler, stalin) but then the jews at the time all ran for thier lives, they didnt grab weapons and start fighting on the streets.... you yourself said that they were rebels so that must mean they started this war. instead of getting their ships and getting out they instead put innocents at risk. thats a war crime.

So if refugees are people that dont choose to go to war or cause a natural disaster or be prosecuted ... (all we know is that the higher cassians saw th lower cassians {dont forget humans are cassians} to work for lower jobs like say slaves (in america for example ... i dont remember a slave rebellion... as i remember it. it was the "high born" of america that wanted to free them).

this makes the rebelling humans made the choice to go to war making them traitors and war criminals not refugees. the humans knew that the aurin would be in danger of attack and even if they stopped for a short time they still stopped thus bringing the aurin into this fight. thats 2 strikes.

as for the granok: they knew their customs they knew what would happen if they fought and yet they still did they are really the only good guys with good intentions (apart from the clueless secluded aurin that got brought into this fight by the evil humans)but they also should have know that they wouldnt be accepted back into society.

the granok are not refugees they are exiles ... the only race that is truely an exile from their own. they got kicked out by thier own people they didnt turn tail and run.

    so granok are badass
aurin are clueless ith bad friends
Humans knew what would happen if they involved other races but they still did t for thier own survival. if there is an evil race thn we have a winner

all the dominion want is revenge on the humans for starting a war on thier own planet. for destroying the scenery and killing innocents. the dominion attacked the granok and as you said lost. and sure it was bad to attack another planet but if you are thinking about only your people's survival how are you any different from human? if you say that the humans are good guys then the dominion must also be good and vice versa.

lets see if we can agree that the main race of the exiles are actually bad guys....

america and england (origin of most americans during the 1st years) follow all the above arguments. many other countries also do but i cant be sure how must world history skippy knows so i am atleast keeping it close to his region

if you can agrue that america is innocent of all the above then you prove that the dominion is also innocent :D

erm or this is a game and real life has nothing to do with it, and every country in the world has good and bad people, find this 'lets all pick on the USA' petty childish and totally misinformed!

O and that be my final comment on it, otherwise will be a never ending up and down.

so from this comment we can say that if we apply the real world to the lore w* that would make the dominion a lawful neutral faction and nowhere near evil. thank you for proving my point for me :D

Since you are hell bent on saying the Granok and Aurin are fine now, and the Humans are the Evil ones, lets now look at the roots of the humans and why it all started shall we?

Again quoted from the official site:
''For more than a thousand years, the humans of planet Cassus had ruled the greatest empire the galaxy had ever known. But as the Dominion's power grew, a number of unpopular policies were enacted that led to civil unrest. What started out as protests in the streets of Cassian cities soon became brutal crackdowns on all who opposed the new order.

When the Dominion military turned weapons on its own citizens, Serrick Brightland, a highly decorated admiral of the Cassian fleet, rebelled against his commanders. Commandeering his own warship, the Star of Dominus, Brightland led Cassian rebels on a series of unexpected, devastating attacks - leaving the Dominion fleet in shambles.

But the rebel admiral's early successes proved costly in lives and materiel. When the full strength of the Dominion military finally caught up to him, Brightland grimly surveyed the battlefield - then bravely set a course for the heart of the enemy fleet. Surprised by the suicide maneuver, the Dominion warships broke formation, and the other rebel starships were able to escape.

Against all odds, the Star of Dominus survived – but at a grave cost. Admiral Brightland sustained terrible injuries in the battle, and was placed into cryo-freeze in order to save his life. Rechristened the Gambler's Ruin, Brightland's vessel was converted to an arkship, and the rebels fled for their lives across the stars.
The discovery of planet Nexus by the famed explorer Dorian Walker represented a new beginning for the humans – a chance to lay down roots before the critical life support systems of the centuries-old Gambler's Ruin completely failed. Serving as the heart and soul of the Exiles, they are now ready to make their final stand against the Dominion that once again threatens their home.''

Ok so yeah the humans attacked the Dominion fleets, but why is this? lets look at the first two paragraphs, The Dominion were bringing in strict laws / policies that much of the population disagreed with, causing the initial unrest. this went to Humans protesting (as people do when they don't agree with something and want a show of numbers to bring change). and the Cassians retaliation to these protests was a ''BRUTAL CRACKDOWN''.

Kinda says the Cassians got violent first huh? Then the Dominion military turned their weapons on their own citizens? Seems like actions of a bunch of <Redacted>'s, The humans retaliated by crippling the Dominion fleet and fleeing when things got too hot.

So who are the bad guys? oh, right.. the ones who protested and got treated like <Redacted> cos they wanted to see a change.

This comes down to the Cassians / Dominion again being the spoiled brats who chuck a tantrum when things don't go their way.

Then there is the issue of how the Aurin got ''dragged'' in to this, unless you can show me proof saying the humans knew very well that the Aurin inhabited this planet and they went there specifically for aid you have no grounds to say the Humans ''knowingly'' dragged the Aurin in to this. They landed on what as far as they knew could have been a vacant planet. Turns out it was inhabited by Aurin and the Aurin would have been targets from this point, before they even aided the Humans.

Did the humans knowingly go to the Aurin planet and drag them in to this? we don't know but we can only assume they didn't know they were there as their friendship was formed when they arrived, and this throws your theory of the Aurin being ''dragged'' in to this knowingly by the humans out the window.

I'll be Dominion, because im a rogue/stalker player and i dont feel being "the good guys" while playing this class.

Something funny is, the Exiles are the oppressed/weak people who decided to rebel agains the authoriy (the cassians), people who join the Exiles want this feeling.
But if too many people joins the Exiles and become overwhelming on their servers, that feeling of oppressed will be lost since they'll own the Dominion.
So the Dominion needs to be "more stronger/populated" than the Exiles to please the Exiles players

You are now going in to the void of being utterly stupid. They rebelled with good reason, the cassians gave BRUTAL retaliation to them protesting, and turned their weapons on to the citizens.. the cassians are the ones who ramped it from protests to civil war. Yes the humans rebelled, but with awefully good reason.

there is never a good reason to rebel. the cassians put weapons towards the protestors, yes that was bad but its not anything new. happens all the time ... you get (sorry about this) alot of it randomly in the us (and probably many other countries but those dont publicise it). cops attack people for no reason than they are protesting or just random hate crimes.

however the citizens of cassia always had the choice to emigrate ... this is an intersella empire. i am sure that the dominion traded with other races outside of their control. there would be ships coming and going daily. jump on 1 of those and you are free .... escalating to a civil war is bad but staying and fighting it when you have other better choices is just stupid

You say sorry like I'm worried about the US? I'm not from anywhere near there lol. But you say it is stupid of them? Stupid of them to try bring change to their home world before abandoning it? They could just get on a ship and ditch, but then they are abandoning their home world. They tried to be civil via protest and the cassians lifted this to civil war, the humans then attempted to win over with this to bring order to their home world. The cassians overpowered them likely cos they had the mechari and such as well, at this point the humans realised it was a lost cause and had no choice but to leave. They did what they could but it wasn't enough.

Yet you insisted the humans are evil multiple times, when it is the cassians who were the complete redacteds from the start.

i wasnt talking to you when i apologised about the US you sorry son of a <REDACTED>.

they must have been real civil to prompt the cassians to use weapons on them ... so civil infact that it lead to civil war...

Who was trying to bring order to their home world? the protests made the world into chaos... bringing order through chaos seems to be a norm for the humans... real and fictional.

My point of view is being oppressed by you right now and i tried to protest. you rnt letting go of your opinion 1 bit not even a mid way to say that the humans are the cause of the aurin having problems with the dominion (forget the granok they had nothing to do with th humans or vice versa). so that means your opinion is as righteous as that of the high cassians.

how about i will be the bigger of us 2 and say you win you are the most dominant just like the cassians are but i wont bring this to blows. I will go have a look at some other threads. maybe there will be others that agree with me. hopefully i wont be seeing u there or you really will be exactly like the cassians
