Hey all, really love the artwork for Wildstar so thought I'd have a go at some fanart for it.

Started on a blockout yesterday evening, I'm not following the concept below 100% as I've got several shots of the artwork and in-game screenshots, so decided to mix up some ideas. Sculpt is still very 'blobby' and got a ton to do, but will get there :D Cheers!

Nice work so far, though what is that thing on his shoulder? Is that a little cannon?

Anyway, looking forward to the progress. Very interesting to see things as they go along.

It's looking good so far, I've enjoyed all the sculpting that has been posted lately.

Thanks for the comments so far guys, much appreciated!

@Dyraele - From what I gathered its supposed to be some kind of power source/capsule tied into the shoulderpad, don't quote me on that :D

Just another update, still sorting out the forms, will probably save the head for last as I find its better to work that way.

    To do:

    - Clean up and sharpen any 'blobby' forms
    - Finish secondary and tertiary details
    - Sort out head
    - Correct proportions on blaster

Holy CRUD, that is an amazing-looking sculpt!

All that hard-surface sculpting and whatnot just makes me so happy to see! :inlove: I struggle with that sort of stuff, but yours looks sooo good! :p

Hey Innocent, awesome post - thanks! :D A lot of it started off as a crappy blockout sculpt and then retopologized with support loops to get sharpened detail, will also be making fine detail with Xnormal.

Took a while to get through, mainly because of time spent on the new job - close to finishing the high poly just a few things to tweak and will game rez this mofo :)
