What hairstyle (or facial hair type) would you like to see on your character in the game? Feel free to take screenshots from another MMORPG's character creator process and share them if you'd like.
Personally I've never been one for flamboyancy; I go with the shaved head, clean shaven or five o'clock shadow, and battle scared face.

I generally tend to enjoy hairstyles that can cross gender gaps. I love playing females with undercuts and mohawks and males with long luxurious locks- if it fits the character I'm going for, that is. Mostly I'm hoping for a variety of color choices with secondary highlight/detail colors. I'm hoping Wildstar will have plenty of awesome funky colors because I get bummed out when there are only plain jane options available (like Neverwinter...)

From some of the videos and forums information there are upwards of 30 or more hair styles? That to me sounds like plenty. I dont want to spend the first week of game play on character creation.
Saving the name should be the most important thing when creating a character. They should start with that selection first.

In general I tend to like ponytails, buns, and twintails in games on female characters, and either ponytails or short and spiky hair on male characters.

...so, what's that have to do with your preference in hairstyle? This isn't about how many hairstyles or if you think they need more; it's a question of what hairstyle you would use. This isn't a 'suggestion to the developers' type of thread. :speechless:

Then I vote BALD. And release the game and stop worrying about aesthetics. 10 points for the win!

I forgot dreadlocks- dreads are super fun, especially when you can do wild colors multiple colors. [IMG]

Something long and slicked back for that perfect blend of class and sleaze. I've had a surprisingly difficult time finding it in games, but some screenshots from the recent art interview showed it on what looked to be in-game models, so... yay for me.

Unless I end up playing a draken, in which case I'm not sure how much mane differentiation there will be.

The dreadlocks in GW2 are cool and less...flamboyant, although they could be if you bought the colors from the trading post...

I played a Sylvari in GW2 so I didn't get to see too many dreads so much as leaves XD

I usually prefer ponytails for more physical classes (warriors, rogues, etc.) and long, wavy styles for spell casters.

Male characters I go for a simple short with it being longer on top. Female characters I like doing a ponytail, curly or messy.
Name of the game escapes me right now, but they had a messy look with a ponytail/braid that was falling out. Think lead lady at the end of an action film. I long to see it again in another game.

But if a role playing character comes to mind, all bets are off.
