Just wondering, is it automated or does each invite need to be sent out by hand?
We have no idea, they never really talked about that.
Make sure you check your spam folder!
Kind of sucks that some of those that won have already been able to play since thursday and other that did win and got the notice have yet to get the actual key. They should just have sent them all out at once as they said they would. It's Sunday now so you have to wait until next Thursday to get a chance to play again...
In all honesty you should be honored just to be able to play beta, even if you happen to be unable to play until the next testing period. Be glad you have the privilege to see the game in the works several months before its release.
^-- any beta at all would be amazing! Be it a week, a day, or an hour!
I've never played the lottery in my life (honest), but when I receive a beta invite to a game I'm interested in, that tingly feeling I get, it has to feel like you just won one, right?
This weekend was SDCC, so a lot of the Carbine community folks are probably not actually in the office to send out keys, as they were off running WildStar events at SDCC and all.
As for why they might want to do each one by hand, hypothetically... I expect some folks might want their beta account (which I gather cannot have the email changed, to avoid people trying do the beta account sales/handoff stuff) associated with a different email than the one they use on WSC. So they'd probably want to double-check with everyone that it is, in fact, the email they wanted the account on. Plus, they might've needed other information as well!
When does one start to worry?
This thread is still alive?
Not really. The people who've gotten in know they've gotten in, and those who haven't know they haven't gotten in, so not much to discuss that's on topic.
So... this event is over already? I can not really find any clue about that but the last post in the submission post kind of lets me asume it ended?
and what if you really want to get a beta and play, but have no talent in drawing or music etc ....
just wait en feel that brain calling for wildstar
The event is long over but the thread hasn't been closed yet. I'm pretty sure winners have all been notified and are in beta currently.
